The USFuelTech range of equipment designed into our modular Biodiesel processing plants offers you the most robust, scalable and economic solutions for making the highest quality ASTM and European standard Biodiesel in the world. All of our equipment is manufactured to the highest industrial standards at our fabrication plant in Dublin, GA. Our reactors have internal Methanol Recovery, a first in the industry, and our proprietary automation package leaving nothing to chance along the entire production process. Our processing system can handle any type of feedstocks that have been properly prepared with regard to total FFA content.
For those feedstocks that exceed specific FFA levels, USFuelTech has developed and manufactures Process 101 which can reduce total FFA levels to <0.03% from feedstock that are in EXCESS of 70% of total FFA’s using our proprietary resin based technology.
All of our systems come with a one year, parts and labor warranty.

Biodiesel Processing Systems
The heart of any Biodiesel processing system is the reactor. This is where the Feedstock, catalyst and Methanol come together to perform the magic of being transformed into the first step of the Biodiesel manufacturing process.
All of the reactors from USFuelTech are made from Carbon Steel, and hand fabricated in our plant in Dublin, GA by our skilled metal workers and welders.
USFuelTech builds three model reactors:
R250
R500
R1000
Each number correlates to that throughput of fuel per hour. When building larger systems, we simply gang each size reactor to end up with whatever size our client needs. We can take these reactors, and using our 'common rail' system, easily build a plant that can produce 50,000,000 gallons of B100 per year or more.

Bioseparator

Internally, the USFuelTech Bioseparator - using a proprietary configuration of baffles and discrete channels - provides for an extremely clean fluid that is then sent on to the Ion Exchange towers for final finishing.

ION Exchange (Process 202)
![]() |
Process 202 is a macroporous cation exchange resin with beads of uniform particle size. The monodispersity imparts excellent kinetics to this mechanically and chemically very robust resin.
It has been developed for the removal of glycerine and soaps from biodiesel in fixed beds. After simple preconditioning with 2 BV of methanol it is ready for use. Preconditioning with methanol has the purpose to strip water from the resin.
- Features of this resin are:
- High glycerine capacities (up to 250 g/l)
- Simultaneous removal of soaps and salts
- Low pressure drop across the bed (40 - 50 kPas)
Benefits of the biodiesel purification based on ion exchange technology instead of the conventional purification by washing with water are:
- No waste water
- Robust and low-cost process
- Regenerant methanol is simply recycled to the transesterification stage
