Processing Equipment Overview
Biodiesel processing units produce ASTM D6751-compliant biodiesel from any virgin oil, vegetable oil or animal fat with an Fatty Acid Value (FFA) of 5% or less. Production rates range from 100,000 gallons to 100 million gallons per year. Production rates assume a 24 hour x 6 day schedule x 50 weeks per year (314 days or 7,536 hours).
